Balaam Books, LLC is an independent publisher of
children's books located in Miami Beach, Florida. Our
company's mission is to create books that are primarily for the
young, to encourage early reading made more enjoyable through
characters that children may relate to and escape to their world
through vibrant color and a storyline written in verse, for the
young or chapter books for the slightly older. Designed, printed

The first in a series of children's books follows
the adventures of a characterized Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,
named Abbey. Through the eyes of Abbey, her adventures also endorse
certain values such as friendship, respect, sharing and kindness,
while danger and misadventure are recognized as part of our daily
learning.
The first in this series is located in Miami Beach,
surrounded by the many activities and sights seen each day in this
busy, tropical location. As our main character Abbey shows us
her world, each page reveals verse depicting not only an
exciting storyline, but also introducing children to the
location as its backdrop for
adventure.
The
second book "Abbey the Cavi and Friends" (February 2007) 100 pages
Hardcover, chidren's fiction $9.95 (UK 5.95) continues the
adventures of Abbey and her friends, some old and some new. Ages
8-12, this reading book is illustrated with characters from Abbey's
first book and new characters who will bring delight to all who
read her latest adventure. Filled with laughter and joy, new

that races to a breath taking conclusion, in her qwest to
see the 'floating hotel'.
